So I've found today on my travels - hunting for coat hangers actually - that the retro clothes shopping can be done on Great Western Road. Found three vintage boutiques - positive. Negative - they are Modern Miss/ Tete a tete prices. Eg Dress £18-£25. So mission not completely successful. However, they are fun for looking. And oh so glittery. And I found a cute bookshop too.
Biggest stress of the day: buying cheese.
Cream cheese does not exist. It is called soft cheese. Luckily I had been given a heads up about that one from Maxine. But as far as I can tell Edam, Colby, Mild, and Tasty are not part of the British cheese vocabulary at all. Ended up going for one called 'Mild Coloured Cheddar'. I don't have high hopes.
